Replacement Foot Pad Cover for Thingamejig Scribing Tool

The foot pad cover is designed to keep the scribing tool from marking pre-finished surfaces e.g., painted walls and polished floorboards. The foot pad cover should be kept clean and removed when not required for damage prevention. If you use the foot pad cover you must allow for its thickness when using the scale ruler on the shaft of the tool. There is a reminder on the foot pad to subtract 1 mm or 1/32" from the size that you require the scribing tool to be set to.
